The Coffee Apothecary

Overview

The Coffee Apothecary combines small-batch, in-house roasted beans with a welcoming shop atmosphere that celebrates community and craft. To support their vision, we developed a cohesive brand strategy, elevated their copywriting by defining value propositions and key positioning statements, and captured their story through lifestyle and product photography. We also created custom icon sets to guide customers on brewing methods for each roast and completed a comprehensive Shopify migration, including design and launch. After consolidating their customer data, we created targeted drip campaigns to launch the new site alongside Black Friday and holiday gift guides, supported by in-store promotions and social media efforts to drive engagement and sales.

  • First off, we’ve been fans (and loyal customers) of The Coffee Apothecary! Our collaboration began with in-depth discovery sessions where we defined their goals, values, and key positioning statements. We spent time learning about their roasting ethos, process, and full line of beans to truly capture the essence of their craft.

    From there, we developed a custom icon set and detailed product descriptions to provide customers with insights into each bean’s unique characteristics, roasting details, and the best at-home brewing methods.

    Next, we completed a seamless Shopify migration, including website design and development, transferring customer profiles, and integrating coffee subscriptions to elevate their e-commerce experience. To launch the new site, we rolled out a Black Friday strategy combining drip email campaigns, in-store signage, and social media messaging to drive traffic and engagement.

The site provided their customers with a deeper connection to the story behind every roast while making it easier than ever to shop, subscribe, and brew the perfect cup at home.

    The launch strategy drove excitement and engagement, boosting sales and strengthening customer loyalty, in Taos and beyond. The project solidified The Coffee Apothecary’s presence as a community-focused coffee shop with a polished and purposeful online experience.
